    Pfister Sofa and Ottoman

    Charles Pfister 1971

Celebrated interior designer Charles Pfister, whose personal design philosophy was “restrained elegance,” designed this perfectly proportioned lounge collection in 1971. The modular design offers long-term flexibility, while the timeless appeal and superb craftsmanship of the design reflect Pfister’s firmly held, and forward-thinking belief that: “There is a movement away from throw-away society, away from disposable possessions. Instead there is a mounting interest in useful, sculptural, wonderfully constructed objects … such objects are a triumph in any setting.” The lounge collection is available in standard and petite sizes, as well as sectional configurations.
